Another nice youngster with good front assembly, very well balanced all round, has style and good body proportions, moved well by experienced handler.

2nd. TAYLOR’S KILBOURNE WOODSMAN TO ORMANSTAR.

Different type to one but still has good head ear set shoulders and body shape, has class and moved well, pushed his brother hard and close in this class.

1st. HOGAN’S BREESFALT JASPER.

This dog displayed a reluctance to be shown and his handler had a difficult time, he has shape and good body angles, could not assess movement due to unruly behaviour, needs more ringcraft.

This dog has good head, correct earset, adequate neck into good shoulders, nice depth of rib and angulation all round, moved well with drive and purpose covering the ground with free flowing movement. Reserve C.C.

A dog nearing maturity, has masculine head with dark eyes and good pigmentation, correct ear set, well laid shoulders, nice shape all round, moved well.

A fully mature dog with first class head with dark eye. Correct earset and reach of neck, well laid shoulders and straight front, well balanced and shapely body proportions, correct arch over loin, adequate bend of stifle with good length hip to hock, moved very well covering the ground with a free flowing movement. 2nd. GIRLING’S CH. PYEFLEET ROLLO.

Another good dog from this kennel, nicely built all round, has quality, correct in all departments, moved once settled with free flowing movement, a deerhound of quality.

A very nice puppy bitch has good feminine head and shape and balance all round, straight front, good top line, well angulated, should finish well, her handler got the very best performance from her, well handled, will certainly watch her progress with interest, a very competitive young lady. Litter sister to puppy dog, has good head eye and shape all round, moved well with a good ground covering stride, promising young bitch, unfortunate to meet 1.

Another nice bitch with feminine head, dark eye and neck of correct proportions, straight front with good body shape and angulation, moved well and smoothly over ground, has powerful rear end assembly, well proportioned bitch of quality.

2nd. RHODES & MORTON’S GENTOM SEA OF TRANQUILITY.

A different type to 1 but has shape and quality all round, moved with ease on well bent stifles with powerful reach and drive, very feminine deerhound.

3rd. QUINN & O’BRIEN’S HODDINGREY TERRPMA.

1st. STUART & HOLT’S PYEFLEET SKATHA AT OLLANDSHEART.

A quality bitch with feminine head, correct proportions all round, moved extremely well on good angulated quarters, has good body shape, in lovely coat and condition to win this good class.

2nd. GIRLING’S PYEFLEET SCRUMPIE.

Another lovely bitch from this kennel with good head giving that faraway look, straight front, well laid shoulders, good body shape throughout, has class with quality, a nice example of the breed.

3rd. SMITH-FENTON’S REGALFLIGHT MALINDI AT INTACK.

A first class deerhound from this kennel, beautiful head with dark eye, good reach of neck and correct front assembly, very shapely all round, moved well covering the ground with ease, very powerful deerhound that could maintain her chase for a good distance. Reserve C.C.

2nd. BAILEY’S GREYFLAX CRYSTAL.

This young bitch nearing maturity has quality throughout but I feel needs a little more time to develop, has all the correct lines to finish well.

A real quality bitch, very feminine head, correct size and bone structure with good body and quarters, powered around the ring to take this good class, has quality throughout, a powerful good honest deerhound. C.C.

2nd. BAILEY’S GREYFLAX MILLY MOLLY MANDY.

Another nice quality deerhound from this kennel, very well muscled with powerful action, moved as a deerhound should by experienced handler.
